It that time of year again! Held in Birmingham and broadcast across the globe by the BBC and 1Xtra, the national drum & bass awards are upon us.

The date is 6th February and voting is already underway. Register your vote at The Official Drum and Bass Awards site or visit their Facebook or Myspace pages.

The event itself will be hosted by Fabio and Grooverider and tickets are still available if you’re quick.

808 State! Remember them! An absolute blast from the past, classic Machester dance music group 808 State have released 4 of there albums in remastered format to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

There are four albums in all, each containing remastered audio and artwork and on top of that a bonus disc containing rare and collectable tracks, some of them never previously released.

The albums are: 808:90, ex:el, Gorgeous and Don Solarise, and are available on Salvo records. Full tracklists below but the highlights include collaberatios with Bjork, New Order and Joy Division aswell as, of course, Pacific State.
